If you are searching for a new and innovative way of painting, this is the workshop for you! Working with acrylics on stretched canvas you will focus on developing your painting using negative shapes and glazing. You will learn to create a variety of interpretive under paintings and to build layers by overlapping shapes. Linda will lead the class by interactive demonstrations, lectures, critiques and individual attention in "hands on" situations. Participants can expect an inspiring and creative atmosphere, with an instructor who truly cares about helping students achieve their personal artistic goals.

LINDA KEMP is internationally recognized for her innovative use of negative painting. She is the author of the #1 best selling book, Watercolor Painting Outside the Lines - A positive Approach to Negative Painting and the accompanying video by the same name. A full time artist, she instructs and lectures at national symposiums and workshops throughout Canada, U.S.A & the U.K. Kemp is an elected member of the CSPWA, the OSA, and the SCA.
